Dr. Piao-Yi Chiou is a Professor at the School of Nursing, National Taiwan University, and former Nursing Supervisor at NTU Hospital. Her research focuses on HIV prevention, digital health, stigma reduction, and inclusive care for marginalized populations. She has led Taiwan CDC-funded projects using mobile and video-based HIV testing via social networks, and developed the “iCareU” Line chatbot to support HIV risk assessment, PrEP adherence, and testing access. In addition to infectious disease care, Dr. Chiou also works to improve postoperative nursing quality and transitional care for urological surgery patients, aiming to enhance recovery and quality of life.
