Yeong-Yuh Juang

Dr. Yeong-Yuh Juang is a Senior Attending Psychiatrist at the Koo Foundation Sun Yat-Sen Cancer Center. He holds numerous leadership positions, including Director of the Clinical Medical Ethics Committee, and Convener of the Adverse Event and Medical Dispute Employee Support Group. Dr. Juang also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Yang-Ming Chiao Tung University, and as a lecturer appointed by the Ministry of Education. He is a standing director of the Taiwan Society of Psycho-Oncology, serving as the Chair of the Academic and Education Committee. Dr. Juang graduated from Taipei Medical University. His career started as an intern at Cardinal Tien Hospital, followed by his residency at Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. He has also spent time as a research fellow at Duke University Medical Center's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science. He has held various positions across multiple organizations, and currently serves as a CALM Qualified Therapist and Trainer. Dr. Juang's expertise includes psychiatry, psychosomatic medicine, psycho-oncology, consultation-liaison psychiatry, palliative medicine, and medical ethics. His academic contributions are notable, with multiple papers published in esteemed journals. Dr. Juang's work spans across various topics, including the psychological impact of cancer, psycho-oncology, and suicide ideation, among others. Dr. Juang is a member of several medical societies, including the Taiwan Society of Psychiatry, the Taiwan Society of Psycho-Oncology, the International Psycho-Oncology Society, and the Taiwan Society of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He holds a specialist license in psychiatry. His dedication to his field is also apparent in his co-editorship of the book "Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry." Dr. Juang's work has had a significant impact on the medical community, particularly in the fields of psychiatry and psycho-oncology. His commitment to improving patient care through his various roles and contributions to the field is commendable.
