Sophia Anderton
Sophia has been working in academic publishing for over 20 years. She started her career as an editor for several chemistry journals and has done almost every role associated with journals publishing along the way. She is now Chief Executive of BJU International, overseeing the journals BJUI and BJUI Compass as well as the eLearning platform BJUI Knowledge. Previously she was Director of Publishing at the British Institute of Radiology and prior to that was responsible for peer review and ethics for all journals published by the Royal Society of Chemistry. Sophia is also a Director of the international scholarly publishing body, the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishing.
