Alexandr Seregin

In 2000, Alexander Seregin graduated from Moscow University of Medicine and Dentistry with a medical degree. In 2002, he completed his residency in urology at Russian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. In 2005, he successfully defended his doctoral thesis on the clinical role of integrin gene SNP in prostate cancer. Since that time, he has been employed in the urology department at the Russian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, utilizing the clinical facilities of the Moscow Urology Center located in Botkins Hospital, Moscow, Russia. In 2024, he was appointed as a full-time professor in the urology department. His professional career was marked by the development of urology laparoscopic surgery in Moscow, with a particular focus on zero-ischemia nephron-sparing laparoscopic and robotic surgery, as well as mini- and single-port laparoscopy. Additionally, he pursued his education at the UAB urology clinic in the United States, NTUH in Taiwan, the University of Leipzig's laparoscopic prostatectomy program, and numerous other urology clinics abroad.
