Dr Joseph Li obtained a degree in medical science in 2007 and his medical degree in 2010 from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He holds fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburg and the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong.
Dr Li is currently serving as a consultant urologist in Tuen Mun Hospital, Hong Kong; an honorary clinical assistant professor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong; council member of the Hong Kong Society of Endourology; and faculty in Asian Urological Surgery Training and Educational Group (AUSTEG).
Dr Li has a strong interest in the management of urolithiasis as well as endourology. He introduced free-hand, ultrasound-guided puncture; and popularized supine, miniaturized PCNL/ECIRS in Hong Kong. He is dedicated to improve stone surgery, and to propagate the use of ECIRS.
