Chung-Hsin Chen

Dr. Ch-H Chen is a distinguished urologist with expertise in urological oncology and minimally invasive surgery. He earned his M.D. from the School of Medicine at National Taiwan University (NTU), followed by a Ph.D. from NTU’s Graduate Institute of Clinical Medicine. Dr. Chen completed his urology residency at NTU Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan. His clinical focus includes urological surgery with a subspecialty in cancers of the urinary tract and prostate. Dr. Chen’s research has made significant contributions to the understanding and management of urothelial carcinoma, particularly in the upper urinary tract. His key academic work involves studying the carcinogenic role of aristolochic acid, identifying urinary biomarkers for early cancer detection, and developing advanced treatment strategies for upper tract urothelial carcinoma. He has also investigated prostate cryoablation techniques and therapeutic outcomes, as well as created predictive models for prostate cancer prognosis in Taiwan. Dr. Chen continues to integrate clinical practice with research, striving to enhance patient outcomes through innovation and evidence-based care.
