Dr. Christine Joy Castillo is a Urology Consultant at Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center and an Associate Professor at the College of Medicine, De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute.
She completed her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Santo Tomas (2010-2014) and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from the same institution (2006-2010). Dr. Castillo pursued residency in Urology at Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center (2016-2021) and further specialized as a Fellow in Endourology, MIS, and Robotics at Seoul National University Hospital (2023-2024).
In addition to her clinical roles, Dr. Castillo is the Scientific Chairwoman for the Philippine Urological Association International Urologic Summit 2025 and serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors at St. Martin Maternity and Pediatric Hospital. She also leads the Skills Training for Endourology and Minimally Invasive Surgery Department at Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center.
Inducted as a Fellow of the Philippine Urological Association and Diplomate of the Philippine Board of Urology, Dr. Castillo has been actively involved in various professional organizations, including the Philippine Urological Association & Asian Urological Society of Endoluminal Surgery and Technology. Her expertise focuses on stones and Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), and she is a recognized speaker at local and international urologic conferences, with research centered on urolithiasis.
