Weida Lau

Dr Weida Lau is Head of Department and Senior Consultant of Urology at KTPH, National Healthcare Group Singapore. He trained in Andrology and Reconstructive Urology at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust between 2018 and 2019. He is presently the Vice President of the Singapore Urological Association (SUA) and the Honorary Secretary of the Society of Men's Health Singapore (SMHS). At KTPH, he started low-intensity shockwave therapy (2018), Rezūm ablation of prostate (2021), UroLift (2022), and iTinds (2024) for the treatment of men with sexual dysfunction and prostate problems in the northern region of Singapore. His main research areas include low-intensity shockwave therapy, penile oncology, and urethral reconstruction.
