Sajid Sultan

Dr. Sajid Sultan, FCPS, FEBU Professor & Head, Department of Pediatric Urology, SIUT Dr. Sajid Sultan is a graduate of Sindh Medical College, Karachi, and received his training in Urology and Renal Transplantation at SIUT. He further specialized in Pediatric Urology at prestigious institutions including the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, London, and Sophia Children’s Hospital, Rotterdam. He was extensively trained by renowned pediatric urologists, notably Mr. Philip Ransley, and acquired advanced laparoscopic training in Germany, France, and Italy. He also holds a Diploma in Bioethics from Karachi University. Dr. Sultan played a pioneering role in establishing Pakistan’s first dedicated Pediatric Urology department at SIUT. He has significantly contributed to Pediatric Renal Transplantation and has vast experience in managing pediatric urolithiasis, having performed over 1,000 PCNL procedures. He is a faculty member and examiner at the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, has authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications, and contributed a book chapter on urolithiasis. He serves as Associate Editor of Frontiers in Pediatric Urology and is affiliated with multiple national and international urology societies and journals. His current clinical focus includes laparoscopy, Exstrophy-Epispadias Complex, and urethroplasty.
