Did Urology training in Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Kathmandu.Established the Urology Unit in Patan Hospital, Patan Academy of Health Sciences, which runs a competency-based residency program. Also works as a consultant urologist in Alka Hospital, Lalitpur, Nepal. Areas of interest in Urology include reconstructive urology, especially adult urethroplasties, laparoscopic urology, and laser enucleation of prostate. Has presented in national and international conferences. Is the international consulting editor for the Indian Journal of Urology, representing the Nepal Association of Urological Surgeons
