Po-Ming Chow

Dr. P.M. Chow is a distinguished urologist with a robust background in clinical practice, academic research, and medical education. He currently serves as an Attending Physician in the Department of Urology at National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH) and holds the position of Assistant Professor at the College of Medicine, National Taiwan University. In August 2024, he assumed the role of Chair of the Department of Urology at the NTUH Hsin-Chu Branch. Dr. Chow earned his Doctor of Medicine and a Doctor of Philosophy in Toxicology from National Taiwan University. He completed his residency, chief residency, and a fellowship in urology at NTUH, building a strong foundation in the field. Demonstrating a commitment to advancing his surgical skills, Dr. Chow has pursued extensive international training. His fellowships include specialized training in robotic and single-port surgery, genitourinary reconstruction, and advanced laparoscopic techniques at world-renowned institutions such as the Cleveland Clinic (USA), University of Illinois Hospital (USA), Clinique Saint-Augustin (France), and Fundació Puigvert (Spain). An active contributor to the urological community, Dr. Chow has published over 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals, focusing on topics such as uro-oncology, voiding dysfunction, and advanced surgical techniques. He is a respected reviewer for numerous international journals and a member of prestigious societies, including the American Urological Association and the European Association of Urology. His dedication to the field has been recognized with numerous accolades, including teaching devotion awards, best journal article awards, and fellowships for his research and clinical excellence.
