Jian-Hua Hong

Dr. Jian-Hua Hong is an Assistant Professor of Urology at National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH), specializing in urologic oncology, minimally invasive surgery, and robotic-assisted procedures using the da Vinci system. He received his M.D. and Ph.D. from National Taiwan University and completed his urology training at NTUH. Dr. Hong’s clinical and research interests focus on urothelial carcinoma, prostate cancer, and the application of advanced biomarkers and imaging in cancer diagnosis and treatment. His translational work on carcinogenesis of UC and population-based studies on cardiovascular risks in prostate cancer therapies has been widely recognized. He has delivered presentations at major international meetings, including EAU, AUA, and JUA, and has received several honors, including Best Poster at the EAU and selection for the prestigious TUA–EAU Exchange Program.Dr. Hong currently serves as Deputy Secretary-General of the Taiwan Urological Association (TUA) and contributes actively to national academic and research initiatives. He has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications and is committed to advancing evidence-based urologic care and international collaboration in the Asia-Pacific region.
