Rikiya Taoka
Dr. Rikiya Taoka is an Associate Professor of Urology at Kagawa University in Japan. His clinical and research focus includes bladder cancer, photodynamic diagnosis, and perioperative therapy. He has served as principal investigator and co-investigator in multiple national and international clinical trials, including those related to immune checkpoint inhibitors and antibody–drug conjugates. Dr. Taoka has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in leading journals such as European Urology, International Journal of Urology, and Cancer Science. He actively contributes to academic societies, including the Japanese Urological Association and the International Bladder Cancer Group (IBCG), and serves on expert panels for clinical guidelines. He is also engaged in cross-institutional collaborative research on emerging therapies and biomarkers for urothelial carcinoma.
