Taku Naiki
Taku Naiki, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the department of Nephro-urology, Nagoya City University Graduate School of Medical Sciences.
As a lead investigator in our department at Nagoya City University Graduate School of Medical Sciences, He has been dedicating my time to urological cancer research both for clinical and basic points of view. While continuing basic research, He also pursue his interest in translational research based on the results using animal models. His research goal is not only to find reliable, better treatment of the disease, but also elucidating its pathogenesis for a better understand of the ultimate cure of the disease.
In his current practice as a urologist subspecializing in endoscopic surgery including robot-assisted surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and in precise prostate needle biopsy method using MRI-TRUS fusion system. He also dedicates his time to translational research for better understanding and finding a novel treatment of prostate cancer and bladder cancer.
