Wei-Chia Lee

Wei-Chia Lee, M.D., Ph.D., is urologist of Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. He is also adjunct associate professor of Chang Gung University College of Medicine. He obtained his medical degree from National Taiwan University School of medicine, Taiwan in 1995. He completed his residency in Urology at National Taiwan University Hospital. Dr. Lee received his Ph.D. degree from National Taiwan University Graduate Institution of Clinical Medicine (2004-2009). He had served as adjunct instructor and assistant professor at National Taiwan University Medical College (2005-2012), and the adjunct associated professor of Chang Gung University College of Medicine (2014-2025). Dr. Lee has been active in his research endeavor. He had ever received considerable awards, including the paper contest winner of Diokno-Lapides (2018), Taiwan Urological Association in five times, Investigator Award of National Taiwan University Medical College for Postgraduate Student, Outstanding Research Award of Taipei City Government Health Department, the best poster of Taiwan Urological Association annual meeting, and the best reviewer of Urological Science and Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms. His research interests cover both clinical and basic aspects of neurourology and urodynamics, including diabetic bladder dysfunction, metabolic syndrome bladder dysfunction, ketamine cystitis, and nerve receptors in the lower urinary tract.
