Mehmet Ilker Gökce
Prof. Gökce is currently a Professor of Urology at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, specializing in endourology and urinary system stone diseases. He graduated from Hacettepe University School of Medicine in 2006 and completed his urology residency at Ankara University School of Medicine in 2011.
Since 2013, he has served as a Consultant Urologist at Ankara University Hospital. From July 2015 to 2016, Dr. Gökce was a Research Fellow at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He became an Associate Professor of Urology at Ankara University in 2018. His clinical practice focuses on endourology procedures, particularly the treatment of urolithiasis and Benign Prostate Hyperplasia. Dr. Gökce has extensive experience, having performed over 2200 supine PCNL, 2000 RIRS, 1300 ECIRS, and 1300 HoLEP/ThuLEP procedures. He coordinates the Supine PCNL working group of the International Alliance of Urolithiasis and is a member of the Society of Minimally Invasive Surgery in Türkiye. Dr. Gökce has published over 140 scientific papers in international journals and has an H-index of 19.
