Guan Hee Tan
Dr. Tan Guan Hee is a Consultant Urologist and the Head of Urology Sub-division in Sunway Medical Centre, Malaysia. He is also a Clinical Professor at Sunway University. Dr. Tan completed sub-specialty training under the Society of Urologic Oncology fellowship at the University of Toronto, Canada. He is trained in minimally-invasive surgery and performs robot-assisted operations regularly, focusing on prostate and kidney cancers. Dr. Tan has a keen interest in surgical technology. He is an early adopter of novel technologies such as fusion transperineal biopsy of prostate and PSMA-based theranostics. His research interests are in smarter screening and early diagnosis for prostate cancer.
