Dr. Kamol Panumatrassamee is an associate professor of Urology at the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University and King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital-Thai Red Cross Society, Bangkok, Thailand. He received his medical degree from Chulalongkorn University and his Board of Urology from King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital. He completed his training with research fellowships in laparoscopic and robotic Urology at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA in 2012.
His special interests are laparoscopic and robotic surgery, especially in adrenal gland, kidney, and prostate surgery. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Thailand and the Thai Urological Association under the Royal Patronage (TUA). Currently, he is the general secretary of the TUA.
