Dr Thawatchai Mangkongsrisuk is a distinguished urologist with extensive expertise in men’s health and pediatric urology. He currently serves as an Instructor in the Division of Urology, Department of Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. In addition to his academic role, he is an active committee member of the Thai Society for Pediatric Urology and the Thai Andrology and Men’s Health Society.
Dr Mangkongsrisuk completed his Doctor of Medicine degree with Second Class Honours at Mahidol University, followed by rigorous clinical training, including an internship and residency in urology at Siriraj Hospital. He further honed his subspecialty skills through prestigious fellowships in Canada, completing a Clinical Fellowship in Men’s Health at The Ottawa Hospital, University of Ottawa, as well as Research and Clinical Fellowships in Pediatric Urology at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).
He holds certifications in clinical and research fellowships in men’s health and pediatric urology, alongside his Thai Board of Urology and a Higher Graduate Diploma in Clinical Medical Science. His clinical interests encompass male sexual health, erectile dysfunction, pediatric urology, and minimally invasive urologic surgery.
In addition to his formal training, Dr Mangkongsrisuk has pursued specialised course training, including inflatable penile implant techniques and laser applications in urology.
