Introduction
We present a case of laparoscopic treatment of postprostatectomy lymphocele.
Materials and Methods
68 year old patient with Prostate cancer pT2cN0M0, Gleason 7(4+3) underwent radical robot-assisted prostatectomy 2 years ago. He presented with dull pain in the lower left abdomen during running. Big lymphocele (400cc) with thick walls was found. His recent PSA was 0.001, and he remained continent. Transabdominal laparoscopic fenestration was performed.
Results
Surgery time was 20 minutes. No drain was put. Hospital stay was overnight. Postoperative period was uneventful.
Conclusions
Laparoscopic fenestration remains a fast, easy and decisive treatment option in large, long existing or recurrent lymphocele with thick walls.
