Abstract Content
Modern nephron sparing surgery implies the principles of maximal preservation of healthy renal parenchyma and minimization of ischemia use by the means of meticulous dissection with step by step tumor vessels sealing and cutting and thus allows sutureless nonischemic surgery to be performed.
We present a case of 49 years old patient with localized cT1NoMo ipsilateral tumors of the right kidney and adrenal gland. The simultaneous 3D laparoscopic surgery for both tumors was perfomed.
The surgery was completed without ischemia, sutures, bleeding and complication. Operative time was 95 minutes. Postoperative period was uneventful. The drain was removed on the next day and the patient was discharged. Immediate postoperative eGFR didn't show any change.
Modern 3-Dimensional 4K video systems provide visualization quality on the par with robotic systems and allow to perform minimally invasive true nephron sparing surgery.
