Abstract Content
To construct an intervention plan for improving the health literacy of patients with urinary system stones, and evaluate its application effect, providing reference for improving the health literacy level of patients and promoting disease recovery.
Convenience sampling was used to select 120 patients with urinary system stones who were hospitalized in the urology department of our hospital from January 2024 to December 2024. They were randomly divided into an intervention group and a control group, with 60 patients in each group. The control group received routine care, while the intervention group implemented a health literacy improvement intervention plan based on routine care and including: forming a multidisciplinary health management team, developing personalized health education plans. Before and after intervention, health literacy scales, disease knowledge awareness questionnaires, self-management behavior scales, and quality of life scales were used for evaluation.
After intervention, the total score and scores of health literacy, disease knowledge awareness, self-management behavior, and quality of life in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).
The constructed intervention plan for improving the health literacy of patients with urinary system stones can effectively enhance their health literacy level, disease knowledge awareness, self-management behavior, and quality of life, and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
