Introduction
The first experience of robotic surgery in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Materials and Methods
Total number of surgeries performed 208 Removal of kidney cyst 2 Nephrectomy 22 Resection of kidney 25 Plastic surgery of ureteral stricture 12 Pyelolithotomy 1 Intestinal plastic surgery of extended ureteral stricture 1 Uretero-ureteral anastomosis 1 Buccal ureteroplasty 2 Ureterocystoanastomosis 4 Excision of bladder neck sclerosis 5 Adenomectomy 24 Prostatectomy 64 Bladder augmentation 3 Cystectomy with Bricker plastic surgery 33 Hysterectomy 2 Simultaneous interventions (adenomectomy + hernioplasty) 1
Results
Since 19.09.2022, more than 200 operations on the genitourinary organs have been performed.
Conclusions
Since 19.09.2022, more than 200 operations on the genitourinary organs have been performed. There are 3 robotic systems installed in the republic. It is planned to install robotic systems in each of the 12 regions of the republic by 2030. The quality and life expectancy of patients is increasing. The level of surgical care provided to patients is increasing. Availability and provision of qualified robotic-assisted surgical care to patients from neighboring countries.
