It is well recognised that radical prostatectomy can have significant impact on urinary continence and quality of life in men who have undergone surgery for prostate cancer. The causes of post prostatectomy incontinence can be multifactorial and urodynamic studies in men prior to prostatectomy have shown a high prevalence of bladder dysfunction. This presentation covers the role of dynamic ultrasound in studying the male pelvic floor and the changes observed following prostatectomy.
